Southern California contains the largest dunes in the state. Hundreds of ATV enthusiasts flock to visit every year and ride the highest peaks. When the evening comes and the sun is setting, the roaring sound of engines disappear and all that is left are the scarred surfaces of the wind-sculpted dunes.
